Fees
With a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or Eating Disorder Plan (EDP), you may be eligible for a medicare rebate, meaning that the out-of-pocket fee for a session during business hours is $108.15. For after-hours appointments, the out-of-pocket fee is $128.15.
Private sessions are also available if you do not have a MHCP or EDP. You do not need a referral from a GP to access a private session. The fee is $250 during business hours and $270 for after hours sessions. However, you may be eligible for a rebate provided by your private health insurance.
Jessica can also provide 3 sessions under Medicare's Pregnancy Support Counselling scheme; although the Medicare rebate available is lower than that of a MHCP or EDP.
Please note that our fees are significantly lower than the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee of $311 for a standard consultation session (for 2024/2025).
Cancellations
Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your appointment. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
In the instance of a non-attendance without notice, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation is made due to sudden sickness or emergencies, please contact us ASAP.
