Jessica describes herself to be a warm, friendly, and approachable psychologist, who hopes to make the experience of seeking support from a psychologist as welcoming and as comfortable as possible. She is aware that seeing a psychologist can be a daunting and anxiety-provoking experience for some at first.
Jessica is passionate about her work, and enjoys working with clients of differing cultural backgrounds and with diverse presenting issues. She works primarily with older adolescents and adults. She draws on evidence-based approaches, but tailors therapy to meet the individual needs of the person. With a client-centered approach, she strives to ensure that the client feels listened to, but also encourages the use of strategies that will assist in improving mental health and wellbeing.
